Producer (Live Events

Hartmann Studios is a full-service employee-owned event strategy, design, and production company with offices in the San Francisco Bay Area, Atlanta, and West Des Moines. We create meaningful experiences for some of the world's most recognized brands.

Hartmann Studios is seeking an experienced Event Producer to lead and execute complex live events, conferences, and trade shows for world-class clients. This role is responsible for overseeing key portions of large-scale programs, collaborating with internal teams, clients, and vendors to deliver exceptional event experiences from concept through execution.

We're looking for a relationship-driven producer who thrives in fast-paced environments, can manage multiple moving pieces at once, and has a strong track record producing large-scale events.
Trade show production experience is required for this role.

• Lead production efforts for assigned event work streams, zones, or entire programs depending on event scope and complexity.
• Partner closely with Executive Producers, account leads, technical directors, and operational teams to deliver successful events on time and within budget.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, production timelines, vendor relationships, and key deliverables.
• Serve as a client-facing point of contact, building strong relationships and providing creative, solutions-oriented guidance.
• Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure concepts are operationally feasible, budget-conscious, and aligned with client objectives.

• Shipping, receiving, installation, and dismantle
• Support permitting, engineering approvals, fire marshal requirements, and venue compliance needs as required.
• Contribute to problem-solving and decision-making in all areas of event execution while helping teams navigate challenges and maintain momentum.

• 5+ years of event production experience managing complex corporate events, conferences, and live experiences.
• Required:
  Hands-on trade show/expo production experience
  , including exhibitor management, show logistics, installation and dismantle, vendor coordination, and trade labor oversight.
• Experience managing event budgets, timelines, and vendor partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of event production fundamentals, including:
• Event design and layout
• Staging and scenic production
• Audio, video, and lighting
• Guest experience and event flow
• Logistics and operational planning
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and client management skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm, resourceful, and solutions-focused under pressure.
• Experience supporting strategic event planning and execution.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
