Compensation:
Starting at $90,000 + Performance Bonus

The Role

The General Manager will have overall responsibility for venue operations and will work directly with ownership and senior leadership.

You will be responsible for creating a well-run, profitable, safe, clean, and highly organized venue while building a strong management team and positive staff culture.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable walking the venue during a sold-out Saturday night, reviewing labor and beverage costs on Monday morning, meeting with department managers, solving operational problems, and preparing the building for the next event.

  • Lead all day-to-day venue operations
  • Recruit, train, schedule, manage, and develop venue staff and department managers
  • Oversee bar operations, inventory, beverage costs, controls, and profitability
  • Manage labor costs and staffing levels based on event attendance
  • Establish clear operating procedures and accountability across departments
  • Oversee security, guest services, box office, bars, cleaning, maintenance, and event operations
  • Coordinate with production, promoters, artists, vendors, and event partners
  • Ensure smooth execution of concerts, nightlife events, private events, and special events
  • Maintain exceptional standards for cleanliness, organization, safety, and guest experience
  • Ensure compliance with alcohol regulations, health and safety requirements, fire codes, occupancy requirements, and venue policies
  • Manage vendor relationships and building maintenance
  • Review operating results, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements
  • Monitor labor, beverage COGS, inventory, revenue, and other key operating metrics
  • Develop managers and create a culture of professionalism, accountability, and hospitality
  • Serve as the senior operational leader on major event nights
  • Work closely with ownership on strategic improvements and the continued growth of Believe
Who We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in:

  • Concert venues
  • Nightclubs
  • Live entertainment
  • Music halls
  • Festivals
  • Experiential entertainment
  • High-volume bars or hospitality operations
  • Multi-venue or multi-outlet operations

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of progressively responsible hospitality, entertainment, or venue operations experience
, including significant management responsibility.

Experience as a General Manager is preferred, but we are also very interested in exceptional Assistant General Managers, Venue Managers, Directors of Operations, or senior venue operators who are ready to take the next step and run their own venue.

You May Be a Great Fit If You
  • Love live music and entertainment
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Are highly organized and operationally disciplined
  • Know how to lead and motivate large teams
  • Understand both hospitality and financial performance
  • Are comfortable holding managers and employees accountable
  • Can remain calm and decisive during high-pressure events
  • Understand that details matter
  • Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done
  • Enjoy improving systems and solving problems
  • Can balance guest experience with profitability
  • Are comfortable working nights and weekends when major events require your presence
What Success Looks Like

The successful General Manager will create an operation where:

The building is ready.

The team is prepared.

The bars are controlled.

Labor is managed.

Guests are taken care of.

Events run smoothly.

Problems are addressed before they become emergencies.

And the venue performs financially.

Compensation

Base Salary:
Starting at $90,000
depending on experience.

The position will also include the opportunity to earn a performance-based bonus tied to clearly defined operational and financial goals.

Why Believe?

This is an opportunity to take a leadership role in an established independent Atlanta entertainment venue while helping shape its next chapter.

Unlike many corporate venue positions, this role offers significant autonomy and the ability to have a direct impact on the operation.

We are looking for someone who doesn't simply want another management position.

We are looking for someone who wants to run a venue.
