Salon Sales Consultant

Shea Locs Natural Hair Studio in Atlanta, GA is looking for one sales consultant to join our 9 person strong fast pace team. We are located on 3695 Cascade Rd Sw. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.

Shea Locs was established in 2008 in Jonesboro, GA and specializes in cultivated locs, loc extensions, Sisterlocks, protective styles and luxury wash and go services. Natural hair care is our number one priority, and we take pride in delivering exceptional services while educating our clients to care for their natural hair.

Shea Locs Natural Hair is seeking results-focused and energetic Front-End Sales Consultants to be a part of their team. They will act as the first point of contact for customers who visit our salon or contact us via phone to learn about our services.

• Manage the front end of the salon location and offer exceptional customer service to customers
• Greet clients and build friendly rapport as customers arrive
• Learn about our products and services we sell
• Cross-sell and recommend hair products and services related to their service
• Book and confirm appointments via phone and Boulevard Scheduling computer system
• Checkout clients on register and process transactions and issue receipts
• Welcome walk-ins and answer questions about services
• Update client records and with contact and billing details
• Troubleshoot any scheduling issues and work to resolution
• Maintain a clean, and organized reception area to include the common areas (bathroom and walk thru areas)
• Update product and supply inventory

• High School Diploma
• Previous work experience as a Salon Receptionist, Front Desk Specialist, or similar role
• 1+ year sales experience
• Excellent communication skills (email, phone, and verbal) with a customer focused attitude
• Hands-on experience with computer and office equipment
• Professional appearance

This position is hourly plus commission, paid $14 hour plus 20% commission on any products sold.
