A professional basketball team and state-of-the-art arena/entertainment venue that specializes in creating memorable experiences for each guest we interact with. Some of our favorite things are live sports, concerts, comedy shows, family shows, and most any other world-class event you can think of, and we’re looking for someone who shares the same interests. We live for the fast-paced world of sports & live entertainment, and as such, we work hard, run fast, execute flawlessly, and party it up when it all comes together.

The Spotlight Operator is responsible for operating follow spot lighting equipment during Atlanta Hawks games and other live events as needed at State Farm Arena.

• Track & maintain accurate spotlight coverage of players, performers, and other subjects as needed during events.
• Follow direction from Lighting Director or show caller for events.
• Attend rehearsals for all games.
• Communicate effective with other spot ops and Lighting Director during events.
• And any other job duties assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Two years of spotlight operation experience in any setting (sports, theater, etc)

• The ideal candidate is a dependable, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced live event environment and is committed to delivering exceptional event experiences through high-quality technical execution.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedules.
• Ability to track moving subjects accurately and consistently in a fast-paced live environment.
