Client Overview:
Our client is an interactive entertainment and events company that creates immersive, puzzle-based experiences for corporate and private events. They are seeking outgoing and reliable Game Assistants to support an upcoming two-day event in Atlanta.
Salary/Hourly Rate:$22/hr
Position Overview:They are seeking 4 Game Assistants to support an interactive event in Atlanta on Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26. The same 4 individuals must be available to work both days. The schedule is approximately 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Friday, September 25, and 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM on Saturday, September 26. This is a fun, hands-on event role that will involve assisting with setup and breakdown, supporting an interactive puzzle experience, and helping ensure the event runs smoothly.
This is largely a non-speaking role, as Game Assistants will interact with participants through gestures, nodding, sounds, and hand gestures as part of the experience. On-site training will be provided prior to the start of the game.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including fabric backdrops, retractable pop-up stands, tablecloths, and puzzles.
- Support participants throughout the interactive puzzle experience.
- Check participant answers and distribute rewards for correct answers.
- Reset puzzles for new participants.
- Keep track of puzzle pieces, supplies, and other event materials.
- Follow provided directions and puzzle diagrams.
- Assist the Game Director with additional tasks as needed.
- Interact with large groups of participants in a friendly and engaging manner.
- Communicate through gestures, sounds, nodding, and other nonverbal cues as part of the assigned role.
- Fluent in English.
- Pleasant, playful, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
- Strong reliability and work ethic.
- Quick learner who can follow instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to keep track of small items.
- Comfortable interacting with large groups of people.
- Must be available for the entirety of both September 25 and September 26.
- Must be able to work onsite in Atlanta, GA.
- Interest in puzzles, games, or interactive experiences.
- Acting, theater, or performance background is a plus.
- Previous experience with escape rooms, trade shows, conventions, schools, camps, hospitality, or other customer-facing events is preferred.
- Previous event staffing experience is a plus.
- None required.
- Position is not eligible for benefits due to assignment length.
