The Credit Risk Analyst will support the team’s digital customer acquisition efforts by helping analyze credit performance, prepare reports, and share insights with business partners and leadership. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is interested in consumer lending, data analysis, and learning how credit decisions are made in a digital environment.

Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on credit performance and key risk metrics.
  • Help analyze data to understand trends, risks, and opportunities within the credit portfolio.
  • Support the development and monitoring of credit strategies related to customer segmentation, credit limits, and pricing.
  • Use analytical tools such as SQL, Python, or similar technologies to extract and analyze data.
  • Prepare clear summaries and visualizations to communicate findings to team members and leadership.
  • Contribute to the testing and improvement of credit risk models and digital decisioning tools.
  • Stay informed on economic and market trends that may impact consumer credit performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and continuously learn best practices in credit risk management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or a related field (or in progress).
  • 0–1 year of experience in data analysis, finance, risk, or a related internship or academic project.
  • Basic to intermediate experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Strong interest in consumer credit, analytics, and digital financial products.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to learn how to turn data into insights.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
