Controller – Atlanta

Salary Up to $125,000 base

Full-time, fully on-site role. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

• Current Controller is retiring and will stay on to provide a smooth transition and training
• Visible Controller role with ownership over financial reporting and day-to-day accounting operations

• Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for department leadership
• Partner with an external CPA firm on audits and compliance
• Ensure payroll tax reporting and regulatory compliance
• Supervise and support a small accounting team while promoting a collaborative work environment

We are open to a range of strong backgrounds. Ideal candidates for this Controller role will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (flexible with strong experience)
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, payroll tax compliance, and team supervision
• Background in nonprofit or church environments is a plus
