The Wire Payments Specialist serves as a subject matter expert in ensuring compliance with applicable laws/regulations, including departmental procedures regarding wire transfers. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.
** Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:*
* · Process incoming and outgoing wires in compliance with bank’s policies and procedures.  
· Monitor queues and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.  
· Communicate with banking officers to secure proper approvals for wire policy exceptions.  
· Setup CIF records in accordance with the wire agreement obtained by the Frontline.  
· Perform call back verifications to customers when required.  
· Investigate, close and provide error resolution.  
· Submit wire recalls and track progress of returns.  
· Communicate with external financial institutions in regard to wire transfers.  
· Monitor and report fraudulent activity.  
· Assist in the implementation of new products and software to gain / enhance operational efficiencies.

Work Experience:

* · 0-2 years of banking/wire-transfer experience required.
** Academic:*
* · High school diploma or GED required.  
· Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
