This is a unique opportunity to help shape the financial leadership infrastructure of a new company - partnering directly with executive leadership to build a high‑performing North America finance function aligned with strategic and operational priorities.

The VP Finance – North America

is the senior finance leader for the region, responsible for financial strategy, operational performance, governance, and team leadership across manufacturing, distribution, and showroom operations.

This role serves as a key business partner to the North America Brand Platform leadership team, translating strategy into financial plans, driving performance accountability, and ensuring disciplined execution. The VP Finance will operate as a member of the regional leadership team while maintaining strong alignment with corporate finance to ensure consistency in reporting, controls, and capital allocation.

As the organization transitions from a carve‑out structure to a fully standalone operating model, this leader will play a central role in establishing scalable processes, strengthening financial transparency, and building a best‑in‑class regional finance organization.

Responsibilities Regional Financial Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead all finance activities for North America, including FP&A, accounting oversight, operational finance, and performance management.
  • Partner with Brand Platform leadership to develop annual operating plans, long‑range plans, and strategic initiatives aligned with growth and margin objectives.
  • Drive financial visibility and transparency across manufacturing, distribution, and showroom operations.
  • Provide data‑driven insights to support pricing, channel strategy, product mix, and capital deployment decisions.
Performance Management & Operational Finance
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews across all North America entities.
  • Monitor and improve working capital performance, including inventory management and cash flow optimization.
  • Support cost discipline initiatives across manufacturing and distribution environments.
  • Establish KPI frameworks that link operational performance to financial outcomes.
Governance, Controls & Compliance
  • Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with US GAAP and corporate reporting standards.
  • Partner with Corporate Finance on consolidation inputs, close coordination, and audit readiness.
  • Strengthen financial governance as the organization transitions fully out of legacy public‑company infrastructure.
  • Support risk management initiatives and maintain a culture of accountability and integrity.
Team Leadership & Organizational Design
  • Build and develop a high‑performing regional finance team across multiple locations.
  • Align regional structure, talent, and capabilities with long‑term business needs.
  • Foster collaboration across Corporate Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and European counterparts.
  • Champion a finance culture that balances operational excellence with business partnership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi‑site operational environments.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership in complex, multi‑entity organizations.
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance management.
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
