Sr Financial Analyst

We have been exclusively engaged by a growing, private–equity backed manufacturing organization on a search for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join its FP&A team. The role will require travel to plant locations in the Southeast.

This newly created, highly visible role reports to the Director of FP&A and involves regular interaction with the CFO and senior leadership. This individual will play a key role in elevating the company’s analytical capabilities through deep financial analysis, robust modeling, and the modernization of reporting into automated, Power BI–driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and own Power BI datasets, data models, and interactive dashboards
• Investigate financial data, reconcile anomalies, and identify root causes of KPI and performance variances
• Transform manual reporting into scalable, automated, refresh-driven tools
• Partner with FP&A leadership to improve data structure, accessibility, and visibility across the organization
• Support the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and rolling outlooks
• Maintain and enhance driver-based financial models
• Validate inputs from Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Accounting
• Perform actual vs. forecast analysis and contribute to monthly reporting, planning, and risk evaluation
• Deliver KPI reporting and actionable insights around capacity, throughput, output, cycle time, on-time delivery, cost, and margins
• Translate complex datasets into clear, executive-ready narratives and recommendations
• Assist with ERP implementations and data integrations

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of progressive FP&A or financial/data analysis experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
• Self-starter with strong initiative and problem-solving capability
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
• Experience supporting manufacturing or operations environments is a plus
• Local to the metro Atlanta area and ability to travel to plant locations
