Financial Manager, Corporate Finance
A high-growth company is building the next phase of its FP&A organization and is seeking a Senior Manager to help lead that evolution.
Over the past several years, the company has invested heavily in financial systems, analytics infrastructure, and process transformation. The foundation is in place. The next phase requires a finance leader who can convert data into consistent insights, drive accountability across operations, and operate comfortably in a fast-paced, executive-visible environment.
This is not a traditional corporate reporting role. This is a business-facing finance leadership position with meaningful ownership of operational performance.
What You Will Own- Full financial oversight of a significant portion of the company’s operating P&L, with emphasis on variable and operational expense categories
- Leadership of quarterly reforecasting and annual planning processes
- Development of KPI frameworks that directly connect operational activity to financial outcomes
- Delivery of executive-level insights to senior leadership
- High-volume ad hoc analysis that often requires rapid turnaround and strong business judgment
- Transformation of recurring analysis into automated, scalable reporting solutions
- Close partnership with operational leaders to influence cost management and performance
You will be expected to understand your assigned P&L areas deeply and operate as the financial owner of that business segment.
What Makes This Role Different- Significant exposure to executive leadership
- Heavy ad hoc environment requiring strong prioritization and composure
- Access to a modern analytics environment including data lake infrastructure and advanced reporting tools
- Opportunity to help shape the next phase of the FP&A function
- Clear runway for growth within the finance organization
We are seeking a finance leader who combines analytical horsepower with strong executive presence.
The strongest candidates will bring:
- 8–12+ years of experience in FP&A, consulting, investment banking, or finance transformation
- Experience in high-expectation, fast-paced environments
- Proven ability to manage large P&L components and translate data into operational decisions
- Strong modeling capabilities and comfort working with large datasets
- Exposure to SQL, Python, or advanced analytics tools is a plus
- Executive-level communication skills with the ability to “tell the story behind the numbers”
- A mindset that thrives in ambiguity and high-volume ad hoc requests
Industry experience is not required. Work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and business partnership ability are critical.
Compensation- Base salary $140,000+
- 15% performance-based bonus
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Marietta, GA
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Enjoys owning outcomes, not just reporting numbers
- Wants visibility and responsibility
- Is comfortable challenging business partners when needed
- Can operate both strategically and tactically
- Is motivated to build and scale a best-in-class FP&A function
