Cash Application Specialist

Job Summary

The cash application specialist is responsible for applying cash applications to Open AR in the company's ERP system in a timely manner. Huge growth potential in both cash applications and or other areas of AR if candidate is wanting to advance their career.

This position will be located at our Corporate office in the Perimeter area of Atlanta, GA - Hybrid work schedule.

• Pull bank reporting daily via Bank of America Cash Pro website, BOA Global or United Transactions to view receipts
• Process cash receipts via Excel Macro
• Post funds in multiple ERP systems
• Research unapplied payments and missing information from bank source
• Assist Supervisor with journal entries for finance charges, miscellaneous journal requests and other write offs
• Assist Credit and Collections team with check copies if needed for research

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2-5 years related experience
• Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Computer proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Excellent telephone skills
• Team player - ability to share information within the department and company
• Ability to be flexible as we continue to process improve
