Job Description Trust Advisor II
Responsibilities
Engage with the Wealth Advisor and Investment Manager to provide advice and solutions that meet client or prospect goals and objectives.Provide financial planning guidance in estate planning, estate administration, charitable/philanthropic, and risk solutions.Interpret and provide guidance on complex fiduciary documents and strategies.Conduct client and prospect meetings, individually when necessary, to advise on trust and state administration, discretionary actions, modification or termination, taxation, etc.Obtain client information and partner with internal teams (FIRM, Advisory Centers, COE, etc.) to complete account‑administration tasks.Adhere to all internal policies and procedures related to Truist Bank and Truist Wealth, address issues independently and escalate when necessary.Identify and develop a book of business focusing on the $10mm – $25mm threshold.Qualifications
Four‑Year college degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Trust Administration, or Law.7+ years of fiduciary experience with a focus on business development and relationship management.Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to convey insightful client advice.Proven analytical ability and detail orientation, managing client and firm priorities.Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Suite and able to learn proprietary bank platforms and software.Preferred: JD, MBA, CPA, CFP.Preferred: 10+ years of fiduciary experience with a business development focus.Benefits
