Salary

$160,000–$170,000 base + bonus potential

This Controller opportunity is with a well-established commercial real estate and development organization in Atlanta. The Controller will play a key leadership role overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls while partnering closely with senior leadership.

As the Controller, you will:

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, financial reporting, and internal controls

• Lead month-end close processes and review financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis

• Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and external accounting firms

• Oversee accounting staff and ensure accurate reporting across development and operating entities

• Support cash management, development reporting, and financial analysis for leadership

Ideal candidates for this Controller role will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA required (MBA a plus)

• 10+ years of accounting experience with leadership responsibilities

• Commercial real estate accounting experience required

• Experience working with Yardi and strong Excel skills
