Actuarial Rotational Development Program

About the Program Our Actuarial Rotational Program is designed to develop the next generation of actuarial leaders within a Fortune 500 environment. This high-impact program provides diverse exposure across our core business lines, ensuring participants build a comprehensive foundation in risk management, pricing, and financial reporting.

Over the course of three years, participants will rotate through different functional areas every 12 to 18 months. These rotations are designed to challenge your analytical capabilities while providing a broad view of how actuarial science drives our corporate strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rotational Assignments: Perform complex actuarial projections, valuation, and pricing models within departments such as Life & Annuity, Health, Corporate Risk, or Reinsurance.
  • Data Analytics: Utilize advanced statistical modeling and data visualization tools to identify trends and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist in the preparation of statutory and GAAP financial statements, ensuring adherence to evolving industry regulations.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and price innovative insurance products that meet market demands.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate workflows and enhance the accuracy of actuarial models.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: 0–3 years of actuarial experience within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Credentials: Must be an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) in good standing.
  • Professional Ambition: Active pursuit of the Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation is required.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in actuarial software (e.g., GGY AXIS, Prophet, or MG-ALFA) and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R is highly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Exam Support: A competitive study program including paid study hours, exam fees, and salary increases upon the successful completion of FSA modules and exams.
  • Mentorship: Direct access to senior Fellows (FSAs) and executive leadership through formal mentorship and networking events.
  • Holistic Development: Beyond technical skills, the program emphasizes leadership training, public speaking, and project management.
