International Tax Manager witha $20+ billion growing and acquisitive global company.

Summary

My client is expanding its tax department and is looking for a high impact/value creating International Tax Manager. In this role you will participate in a mix of compliance, tax position management, planning and business consulting for domestic or international operations.

Responsibilities
  • Review US international income tax returns including Forms 8865, 5471, and 8858.
  • Track and model tax positions and their potential impacts on the company's effective tax rate.
  • Update projections based on business forecasts to understand foreign inclusions.
  • Research tax impacts and determine required disclosures related to transactions.
  • Build and develop relationships across the business to understand and optimize the various business tax positions.
  • Manage multiple projects and communicate results to the team and leadership.
  • Drive innovation and transformation within the tax organization.
  • Develop and train tax analysts and/or tax interns.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, and/or a JD or LLM.
  • 6+ yearsof experience in international tax matters in consulting and/or compliance.
  • Public accounting firm or large multi-national corporation experience.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of international corporate tax matters such as foreign tax credits, dual consolidated losses, Subpart F, look-thru, GILTI, BEAT, and understanding of US international tax attributes.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, robust analytical skills, innovative thinking, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills - ability to drive results and meet deadlines.
  • Experience training, supervising, and developing tax staff and/or interns.
  • Corp Tax and One Source experience.
