Overview

Corporate finance lawyer with PGIM Private Credit (PPC) to support investment transaction work across senior debt, mezzanine debt, and equity financing, primarily in a hybrid on‑site/remote model.

Responsibilities
  • Structure, negotiate and supervise the documentation of corporate finance transactions involving senior debt, mezzanine debt, and/or equity.
  • Serve as a strategic partner for PPC businesses to build and manage a diversified investment portfolio.
  • Build professional working relationships with leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Manage outside counsel.
  • Track and monitor regulatory trends that impact the business and strategize with PPC management on appropriate actions.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in corporate finance transactions, preferably at a major law firm or financial institution.
  • Prior experience representing insurance companies, banks, private credit funds or other institutional investors in corporate finance and/or leveraged finance transactions.
  • Familiarity or prior experience with federal securities law.
  • Ability to work effectively with demanding PPC clients, borrowers, outside counsel and other institutional investors, and across the Prudential enterprise.
  • Strong leadership skills and teamwork orientation with legal and business associates.
  • Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and able to obtain an in‑house counsel license if required.
