Portfolio Specialist - FI

Job Purpose

Voya Investment Management (IM) is seeking a Portfolio Specialist to support IM’s Fixed Income team.

Performing as an advocate and representative of IM’s Fixed Income Investment team, the Fixed Income Product Specialist serves as the first point of contact among internal and external clients. Assist Fixed Income Client Portfolio Manager ("CPM")/Portfolio Specialist team and portfolio managers in gathering and analyzing product and capital markets data, assembling support materials including commentaries, presentation books and various marketing and communication pieces.

Partnering with marketing and communications to assist in a high-quality investment product content creation and distribution. Ongoing project coordination and communications with all parts of the organization including portfolio management, marketing and communications, legal and compliance and IM’s retail and institutional distribution teams. Responding to internal and external client inquiries including RFPs, with strict deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field with 1-3 years minimum of financial services experience, preferably in asset management or capital markets.
• Fixed income knowledge or experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a passion for fixed income investing and attention to detail.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to analyze, organize and visualize data to support Voya’s fixed income strategies.
• Deep knowledge of Excel required, experience with SQL, Power BI, or other databases preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage with many individuals throughout the organization.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a high-paced, team-oriented environment.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives.

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
