Credit Analyst — Risk, Limits & Client Insight

Position Summary
:
The Credit Analyst reports directly to the Credit Manager and is responsible for processing new credit applications, setting credit limits and terms, creating new customer accounts, and assessing credit risks and collection issues. The role follows Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and company practices.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Conduct credit checks and establish credit limits and terms.
• Evaluate the financial profile of new and existing customers, and set up appropriate credit structures.
• Manage customer accounts to ensure credit limits reflect volume and exposure.
• Assist with bad‑debt analysis and processing lien letters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Core Competencies

• Minimum 3 years of credit experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related business field (not required if equivalent experience).
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
• Knowledge of D&B reporting, financial statement analysis, letters of credit, bank guarantees, and bond requests.
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, complete complex tasks thoroughly and efficiently, and suggest process improvements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of management and customers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization.
