Job Description: The Associate Director is a senior, client‑facing role responsible for managing complex Personal CFO engagements for ultra-high net worth individuals and families. This role partners closely with Directors and senior leadership to deliver an elevated, high‑touch client experience while overseeing the day‑to‑day financial administration of client entities.
This role operates within a single family office environment where expectations are exceptionally high with respect to accuracy, responsiveness, discretion, and proactive service. The Associate Director is expected to anticipate needs, close loops fully, and deliver consistently polished and decision‑ready outputs.
This hands‑on role requires deep expertise in financial reporting, cash flow oversight, bill payment operations, and multi‑entity accounting across individuals, trusts, foundations, and related structures.
The Associate Director plays a critical role in anticipating client needs, identifying operational improvements, and driving execution across internal and external stakeholders.
While this role does not initially include direct reports, it requires leadership through influence, strong judgment, and the ability to manage complex work streams independently while partnering with and leveraging the broader team. As the platform grows, this role may evolve to include formal team leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as a primary day‑to‑day contact for assigned clients, ensuring timely, accurate, and high‑quality execution of all Personal CFO deliverables
- Deliver a high‑touch, single family office level client experience with strong attention to responsiveness, detail, and follow through
- Oversee financial administration for ultra‑high net worth families, including accounting, bill payment operations, and reporting
- Prepare and monitor detailed cash flow analyses, identifying trends and anticipating future funding requirements
- Manage multi‑entity accounting, including general ledger review, reconciliations, and transaction classification
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and documentation of banking and credit card activity
- Prepare consolidated and entity level financial reporting, including sources and uses of cash tracking
- Perform variance analysis and clearly communicate insights and drivers to clients and advisors
- Support strategic initiatives such as property acquisitions, liquidity planning, capital calls, and funding movements
