Senior Finance Project Manager – New Business Initiative; Bangkok

The New Business Initiatives team of project managers is a critical driver of Agoda and Finance department’s success, balancing innovation and growth with smart risk management. It provides strategic insights to Agoda’s business leaders in the pursuit of launching new initiatives in a sustainable and scalable manner, delivering world-class execution for projects and serving as a learning ground for people.

We are looking for a talented, results-oriented Finance Manager to join the Agoda finance team.

You will have:

• A front row seat on key Agoda strategic initiatives
• Opportunity to drive implementation of those key initiatives with a Finance lens
• Partner with a diverse set of stakeholders across IT, Product, Legal, Business, Marketing, Customer Services and more
• Leverage your organizational skills and subject matter expertise to make an impact
• Drive process integration and automation: lead initiatives to streamline and integrate financial processes across teams, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with goals

• Project manage and implement various company-wide strategic initiatives
• Assess implications of new initiatives on finance functions (accounting, tax, operations, treasury, commercial, financial systems, risk & control, etc.)
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, optimize processes and workflows, and make trade-off decisions with shifting priorities
• Ensure constant communication and calibration between project teams and other stakeholders
• Represent finance in cross-functional forums and influence roadmaps to incorporate Finance requirements
• Monitor progress and milestones, identify risks, troubleshoot, and propose mitigations
• Assist with UAT testing and ensure smooth go-lives and prompt post-launch issue resolution

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in Finance projects
• Experience in tech industry / e-commerce with finance operations and business analysis
• Extensive stakeholder management and the ability to influence
• Process integration and transformation experience in fast-paced environments
• Undergraduate degree (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related; professional accounting qualifications also acceptable)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural, high-intensity environment
• Comfort with uncertainty and experimentation in a high-velocity setting
• Strong numerical, analytical, problem-solving, influencing and change management skills
• Attention to detail, self-motivation, and continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and planning skills
• High dependability, urgency, and results-orientation with strong business acumen

• Experience with finance tools and accounting/reporting knowledge
• Experience working closely with Product and IT
• Cross-functional finance experience (accounting, operations, treasury, FP&A, financial systems, etc.)
