Senior Accounting Advisory Consultant - External Audit incl

We are seeking 4 Accountants with extensive external audit experience in public accounting (Big 4 or national firms strongly preferred)

• Starting Salary is $100-120k with 30% guaranteed bonus (first 2 years) paid monthly

An established professional services organization is seeking experienced External Audit professionals interested in transitioning into a strategic advisory environment. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with finance leadership teams at large and middle-market organizations on complex accounting and financial reporting initiatives.

This position is ideal for accounting professionals looking to move beyond recurring audit cycles while continuing to build on their technical accounting expertise in a consulting environment.

Professionals in this role partner with client finance organizations on high-impact projects including:

• Supporting companies through capital markets readiness and regulatory reporting initiatives
• Advising on technical accounting matters and complex US GAAP treatments
• Assisting with accounting implications of mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings
• Improving financial reporting processes and internal controls
• Supporting special finance transformation initiatives
• Working directly with Controllers, CFOs, and senior finance leadership

Projects vary by engagement and provide exposure to multiple industries and business challenges.

• Minimum 3 years of external audit experience
• Background in public accounting (Big 4 or national firms strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Experience working with complex or large clients
• Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements
• Strong communication skills with ability to work with client stakeholders

• CPA or CPA track strongly preferred
• Senior Associate or early Manager level experience
• Experience with technical accounting research
• Experience supporting public company audits preferred
• Advisory or transaction exposure is a plus
