Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Finance Director to lead financial operations for our Energy & Communications businesses within National Solutions. This high‑impact leadership role partners directly with business presidents and senior leaders to drive performance, enable growth, and deliver actionable insights. You will shape strategy, improve operational efficiency, and build a strong, collaborative finance team.
Job LocationThis is an onsite role based at our Corporate Office in Atlanta, GA.
Key Responsibilities- Drive business performance; own full financial accountability for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Partner with senior leadership to influence decisions and deliver profitable growth.
- Identify risks and opportunities, lead actions to improve results.
- Lead financial planning and analysis with the National Solutions FP&A team on forecasts, budgets, and monthly reviews.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to track performance and inform decision‑making.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Drive margin improvement through pricing, cost management, and productivity initiatives.
- Leverage systems and tools to strengthen financial processes.
- Maintain compliance with financial policies, controls, and reporting requirements.
- Support audit activities; ensure accuracy and transparency in reporting.
- Lead financial oversight of capital investments and track project performance.
- Support M&A activities including due diligence and integration.
- Provide financial analysis and business cases for strategic initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner across functions to support business success.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in a public company and manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to develop and mentor talent.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into meaningful, executive‑level insights.
- Proven communicator with the ability to simplify complex topics and influence decision‑making.
- Demonstrated success driving process improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Experience with ERP and reporting systems such as SAP and HFM.
- M&A experience preferred.
- Strong collaborator with the ability to build relationships across functions and levels.
