Job Description & How to Apply Below

A market-leading, private equity-backed services platform is seeking a Director of Corporate Development to play a central role in the continued execution of its highly active acquisition strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, this individual will serve as a key member of a sophisticated and proven M&A organization that has established itself as one of the most active consolidators in its sector.

This is a highly execution-oriented role within a mature and well-resourced corporate development function. The organization has a dedicated deal sourcing team responsible for pipeline generation and a separate integration team focused on post-close execution, allowing this position to remain heavily focused on full lifecycle transaction execution, diligence, valuation, negotiation support, and deal management across a high volume of acquisitions.

The ideal candidate is a sharp, detail-oriented M&A professional who thrives in fast-paced, transaction-heavy environments and enjoys managing multiple live deals simultaneously within a collaborative, performance-driven culture.

Position Highlights
  • Join one of the most active and successful acquisition platforms in its industry
  • Report directly to the Chief Development Officer and work alongside an experienced, high-performing M&A team
  • Focus heavily on transaction execution within a dedicated and specialized corporate development infrastructure
  • Gain exposure to a significant volume of live acquisitions across a multi-state platform
  • Work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with direct exposure to executive leadership and private equity ownership
  • Opportunity to build deep expertise in repeatable, process-driven M&A execution within a scaled platform environment
What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage the execution of acquisitions from LOI through close across multiple simultaneous live transactions
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment committee materials
  • Coordinate diligence efforts across legal, accounting, operational, HR, compliance, and other functional work streams
  • Partner closely with internal leadership, external advisors, lenders, and sellers throughout the transaction process
  • Support negotiation processes, purchase agreement reviews, and transaction structuring discussions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the dedicated sourcing team to evaluate and prioritize new acquisition opportunities entering the pipeline
  • Partner with the integration team to ensure seamless transition and handoff of completed transactions
  • Collaborate with finance and leadership teams on acquisition reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Assist in refining and improving internal M&A processes, templates, and execution playbooks
  • Conduct market research, target analysis, and competitive benchmarking across priority markets
  • Support broader strategic growth initiatives through analytics, reporting, and acquisition pipeline management
  • Monitor and track transaction performance metrics, earn-outs, and post-close obligations as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • 5–10+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, or related M&A environments
  • Strong transaction execution experience with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent deals and work streams
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skillset with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with comfort interacting directly with founders, executives, advisors, and investors
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across sourcing, integration, finance, and operational teams
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CPA, or other advanced finance credentials are a plus
Why Join Us
  • Join a scaled, highly successful acquisition platform with substantial runway for continued growth
  • Work within a best-in-class corporate development function built for speed, collaboration, and execution excellence
  • Gain exposure to a significant volume of transactions and accelerated professional development
  • Partner directly with senior leadership and private equity ownership on high-impact strategic initiatives
  • Opportunity to build long-term career growth within a rapidly expanding platform and leadership team
