Job Description
The Senior Corporate Real Estate Transaction Manager will focus on all asset types and transaction types for a complex, leased and owned, owner-occupied portfolio with heavy Retail component.
Responsibilities- Portfolio analysis to identify advanced opportunities
- Market and asset analysis to determine highest and best use and value
- Recommending transaction strategy
- Managing third party broker activity including renewal pipeline management and asset disposition programs
- Financial and qualitative analysis of proposals
- Managing negotiations and contract documentation
- Assuring timely execution
Given the size and diversity of U.S. Bank’s real estate portfolio, the Real Estate Transaction Manager may support asset acquisitions, third-party leasing, and subleasing, as well as, asset management.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 12 or more years of related experience, preferably in corporate and commercial real estate
- At least five years of leading a professional level team
- Deep expertise in commercial real estate transactions across asset types beyond office (e.g. retail, cash vault, data centers, specialty, etc.)
- Experience as corporate real estate (CRE) governance and with owner-occupied portfolios
- Proven ability to manage high value leasing renewals, acquisitions, dispositions, subleasing, and asset management
- Strong analytical skills in market analysis, financial modeling, and contract negotiation
- Skilled in managing commercial brokerage partners and cross‑functional teams
- Strategic thinker with strong financial analysis, forecasting, and planning skills (GAAP knowledge; Excel proficiency)
- Ability to develop and communicate investment recommendations (PowerPoint proficiency)
- Proven track record of creating value and delivering impactful results
- Active real estate license, advanced degree, professional team leadership experience preferred
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
