Senior Associate – Transaction Advisory Services
Aprio is a Transaction Advisory Services firm that assists clients with buy‑side and sell‑side transactions, providing specialized knowledge across a range of industries.
Responsibilities- Compile and analyze historical financial data/financial statements provided by the buyer and/or seller.
- Comment on client sellers' and targets' financial operating results and financial position by highlighting significant business profitability trends and overly aggressive accounting policies.
- Understand customer and vendor trends and other key transaction risk considerations.
- Proactively participate in meetings with the Aprio client service team and client management.
- Analyze the cash flow impact of capital expenditures, working capital trends, and changes.
- Create and design tailored transaction advisory reports addressing significant transaction considerations and issues.
- Continuously foster relationships with coworkers across all service lines and industry groups, and with clients (both strategic and private equity).
- Participate in a work environment that values camaraderie, collaboration, and community giving.
- Travel approximately up to 15% of the time while upholding Aprio’s values and reputation.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Licensed CPA is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Demonstrated poise working with private equity and corporate executives.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work effectively and personably with a diverse group.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- 2–3 years of experience in audit, finance, or transaction advisory services.
- Adequate knowledge of US GAAP.
