Settlements Analyst
Largest commodity trading company with very dynamic culture. We've placed 100+ people with this client, 30+ coming straight from Big 4, several of which have already been promoted. As a commodity trading shop, they have a very dynamic and high energy environment. The position sits on the trade floor with the traders. Below are a few additional highlights:

- Excellent compensation and benefits (bonus is highly dependent on individual performance, historical bonus numbers are in the ball park of 30% for the first year)

- Company pays for numerous types of continuing education outside of CPE, including Python or other courses

- Settlements is the starting ground to become familiar with the company and industry. Thereafter there are lots of opportunities for promotion/movement into various areas of the company including pricing, scheduling/operator, trade assistant, etc.
- Open as a result of promotion
- Work directly with the Trader, Operator/Scheduler, and Commercial Analyst with regards to tracking and maintaining accuracy and completeness of trades.
- Timely and accurate settlement of sales, purchases, transportation, storages, and various ad hoc costs. Coordinate with local offices in each of the countries throughout Latin America to ensure accuracy of trade information into accounting systems.
- Work across teams (Traders, Operators, CAs, Accounting, Credit, Treasury, etc.) and other offices to coordinate and maintain best practices across life cycle of a trade.
- BBA Accounting or Finance
- Public Accounting experience a plus, CPA a plus
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
- Python, Tableau, or VBA are a plus
