Accounts Payable (AP) Associate
An AP Associate will support our Finance team in delivering accurate financial statements and reporting, with a focus on month‑end close, AP controls, and budget analysis.
What You Will Be Getting Involved InYou’ll be heavily involved in the month‑end close for multiple entities, managing data entry in Ramp, maintaining AP controls, and supporting Budget vs. Actual analyses.
Responsibilities- Ramp Data Entry & Management – accurately enter and categorize vendor invoices, receipts and reimbursements; ensure syncing with Net Suite; process payments and expense reports; maintain vendor relationships; resolve discrepancies.
- AP Controls & Compliance – enforce AP policies; assist with month‑end close activities; reconcile AP accounts and prepare audit documentation; flag irregularities.
- Budget vs. Actual (BvA) Analysis Support – prepare monthly BvA reports; collaborate with FP&A and department leads on variance investigations.
- Drive timely month‑end close for multiple entities.
- Ensure adherence to AP policies and internal controls.
- Deliver accurate financial statements with minimal errors.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliation each month.
- Communicate variances across time periods clearly.
- Solid accounting background with journal, accrual, prepayment, and balance‑sheet experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles for accurate reporting.
- Ability to meet tight month‑end deadlines.
- Experience working with external auditors.
- Proficiency in Net Suite and Ramp.
- Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis.
- Attention to detail, organization and cross‑functional communication.
- Introductory call with Senior Talent Partner (30 min).
- 45‑minute video interview with Accounting Controller.
- 45‑minute video interview with hiring manager.
