Candidate Requirements* Candidates must be local and able to work in Alpharetta, GA during Summer 2026. We have a strong preference for candidates who are able to continue working part-time during the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.*
HoursBetween 8:00 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m.
16-25 hours per week during the school year depending on the applicant's schedule.
30-40 hours per week in the summer.

Duties in the Actuarial Department- Performing tasks related to data preparation for analytic projects and/or product implementation
- Setup and formatting of pricing and/or reserving reports
- Testing and troubleshooting pricing and product implementation
- Fundamental concepts of insurance
- An understanding of actuarial roles and responsibilities
- Familiarity with basic actuarial tools including Excel and SQL Server.
- Sophomore, junior, or senior
- Major in mathematics, actuarial science, risk management, or equivalent
- Basic familiarity with MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Attention to detail
- Excellent grammar, proofreading, and written communication skills
