Investment Manager

Location:

Atlanta, GA Area — $155K–$170K Base + 20% Bonus + Benefits

A growing wealth management organization is seeking an experienced Investment Manager to support complex private client and investment management relationships in the Atlanta area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the thoughtful, technical side of wealth management — investment strategy, portfolio oversight, advisor/client support, risk management, and long-term relationship-focused planning — without being in a heavily sales-driven seat.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Oversee investment management for complex private client relationships
  • Build investment strategies based on client objectives, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, and long-term goals
  • Partner with advisors, internal client teams, and investment leadership
  • Discuss portfolio positioning, performance, securities, managers, and market conditions
  • Support investment research, manager due diligence, policy alignment, and account issue resolution
  • Communicate complex investment topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Make sound independent decisions while knowing when to elevate key issues
  • Provide investment guidance and expertise to internal partners and clients
Ideal Background
  • 10+ years of investment management, portfolio management, private banking, or wealth management experience
  • Strong exposure to private client, HNW, UHNW, family office, fiduciary, or relationship-based investment portfolios
  • Strong understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk management, performance review, and investment policy
  • Ability to communicate investment recommendations clearly and professionally
  • Strong analytical skills, judgment, attention to detail, and time management
  • Experience with portfolio management, investment reporting, CRM, compliance, or related financial systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred
