Senior Real Estate Portfolio Analyst

About the Role

The Senior Real Estate Portfolio Analyst provides asset management and analytical support for Voya’s existing high‑yield commercial mortgage loan portfolio, including bridge loans and subordinate debt with a value‑add strategy.

• Monitor and communicate property operating performance and key performance indicators.
• Perform market research, competitive analysis, and financial analysis of value‑add commercial properties and the loan portfolio.
• Track quarterly financials to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
• Oversee property performance and manage loan strategies, including site visits to assess risks and opportunities.
• Communicate investment insights to senior leadership and investors.
• Assist with borrower negotiations, loan modifications, and strategic opportunities.
• Underwrite and analyze the broader portfolio, providing actionable recommendations.
• Review and approve borrowers’ annual property operating budgets.
• Develop working relationships within the Real Estate Finance Group to identify improvement opportunities.
• Promote a positive attitude and collaborative environment among colleagues.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2‑3 years of commercial real‑estate and analytical experience.
• Ability to interpret complex loan documents and develop effective strategies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Superior analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of analytical and market research tools (e.g., CoStar, RCA, Argus) is a plus.

Annual base salary in the range of $100,000 to $113,000 USD, commensurate with experience. Additional incentive opportunities (annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long‑term incentives) may be offered based on performance.
