About the Role
The Senior Real Estate Portfolio Analyst provides asset management and analytical support for Voya’s existing high‑yield commercial mortgage loan portfolio, including bridge loans and subordinate debt with a value‑add strategy.
Responsibilities- Monitor and communicate property operating performance and key performance indicators.
- Perform market research, competitive analysis, and financial analysis of value‑add commercial properties and the loan portfolio.
- Track quarterly financials to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Oversee property performance and manage loan strategies, including site visits to assess risks and opportunities.
- Communicate investment insights to senior leadership and investors.
- Assist with borrower negotiations, loan modifications, and strategic opportunities.
- Underwrite and analyze the broader portfolio, providing actionable recommendations.
- Review and approve borrowers’ annual property operating budgets.
- Develop working relationships within the Real Estate Finance Group to identify improvement opportunities.
- Promote a positive attitude and collaborative environment among colleagues.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2‑3 years of commercial real‑estate and analytical experience.
- Ability to interpret complex loan documents and develop effective strategies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Superior analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of analytical and market research tools (e.g., CoStar, RCA, Argus) is a plus.
Annual base salary in the range of $100,000 to $113,000 USD, commensurate with experience. Additional incentive opportunities (annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long‑term incentives) may be offered based on performance.
