Pathstone is hiring an entry‑level Associate, Tax for a full‑time role across its U.S. offices. This position focuses on the tax and family office service needs of our clients.

Pathstone is a growing wealth‑management firm serving ultra‑high net worth families, single family offices, foundations, and endowments. We provide investment advisory, tax strategy, risk management, wealth and estate planning, philanthropic planning, and family governance services to help clients navigate complexity.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam preferred.
• 2+ years public accounting experience with a CPA firm serving high‑net‑worth families or family office services experience desirable.

• Complete work papers, tax projections, and tax returns for partnerships, trusts, individuals, and private foundations.
• Conduct tax research to provide insight to specific client situations.
• Prepare deliverables for quarterly client meetings covering tax, philanthropy, insurance, and accounting service areas.
• Present periodically on a tax technical topic from a selection of current topics.
• Manage multiple assignments and communicate project statuses with the team.
• Perform other family‑office duties as assigned or needed.

Pathstone’s expected starting base compensation range for the position is $55,000 – $75,000 per year. The actual base compensation will be set based on experience, education, specialty and training. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus award.
