International Tax Director

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Austin, TX for our hybrid working model.

• Support IP and tax structure planning to maximize tax efficiency
• Direct global tax compliance
• Direct international quarterly and year‑end accounting for income taxes (ASC 740); direct international tax provisions for foreign statutory financials
• Execute the company's global transfer pricing strategy and policy, including monitoring controlled transactions, transfer prices and adjustments
• Prepare and maintain intercompany agreements and allocations
• Review the tax components of certain customer agreements
• Review business initiatives to determine the tax impact
• Direct corporate international tax research and interpretation
• Manage international tax audits
• Direct post‑acquisition integrations
• Work closely with Treasury in managing cash globally
• Coordinate with outside tax consultants and contractors for various tax projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, MST or LLM (Taxation) preferred)

• 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong compliance and planning experience in a multi‑national, multi‑entity environment including the areas of: BEAT, GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, OECD Pillar Two, Check the Box Principles, U.S. Tax Treaty Research and Interpretation, Intellectual and Intangible Property Planning, and Transfer Pricing
• Working knowledge of international taxation in Europe and Asia

• Understanding of SEC and GAAP reporting requirements
• Significant project management skills required
• Ability to navigate complex tax issues and provide strategic solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is: $129,000—$253,000 USD
