Join a highly regarded financial institution as an Auditor II, supporting enterprise-wide audit, risk, and compliance initiatives. This role partners with leadership across the organization to assess internal controls, identify process improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance through operational, financial, and data-driven audits.
Key Responsibilities- Perform operational, financial, and compliance audits across business functions
- Conduct risk assessments and develop audit testing plans
- Analyze large data sets using audit and data analytics tools
- Evaluate internal controls, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness
- Prepare audit findings, reports, and recommendations for leadership
- Conduct follow-up testing to validate remediation efforts
- Support regulatory examinations and external audits
- Identify opportunities to improve audit processes and testing methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 4+ years of internal audit, public accounting, or consulting experience
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles, risk assessment, and internal controls
- Experience working with large data sets and analytics tools
- Strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, macros)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
- CPA, CIA, CISA, or actively pursuing certification
- Experience in banking, credit union, or other regulated financial environments
- Experience with Archer or other GRC platforms
- Master’s degree in a related field
