This position provides Consumer Lending advice to new-to-bank clients and external business development. Key responsibilities include applying mortgage lending principles and familiarity with Realtor, Builder, and Community contacts local to the market. The job requires successful delivery of lending services to clients while demonstrating an understanding of credit, lending guidelines, and the mortgage process. The role involves residential mortgage lending and is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional client care by offering advice‑oriented solutions with Consumer Lending and Core Banking products.
- Engage in community development, outside sales activities, and external networking to responsibly grow client and market share.
- Understand lending processes and credit guidelines to develop personalized solutions for each client’s needs.
- Manage daily client and loan pipelines with organization, follow‑up, and collaboration with loan fulfillment partners.
- Leverage digital solutions, providing clients with preferred service pathways.
- Maintain and adhere to all federal and state regulations and banking operational requirements, delivering compliant client advice conversations and meeting financial goals.

- 3+ years of experience in a loan origination role focused on generating self‑sourced purchase business through a verifiable, established network of referral sources.
- Demonstrated understanding of effectively managing a pipeline to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Strong knowledge of loan products:
Conventional, Jumbo, and Government. - Ability to analyze and document income, assets, and liabilities to qualify clients for specific loan products.
- Understanding of processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
- Working knowledge of federal regulations governing real estate lending.
- Ability to source clients independently and generate business from external Centers of Influence such as real estate professionals, builders, and other referral partners without reliance on enterprise referrals, in compliance with bank policy.
- Ability to work independently.
