Overview

Senior Accounting & Finance Specialist (Remote)

Position: 7-Month Contract | Fully Remote | $25-30/hr

• Lead comprehensive month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
• Manage revenue recognition processes and compliance with accounting standards
• Oversee operational expenses (OpEx) and accrual accounting
• Direct AR/AP operations and process improvements
• Develop and maintain management reporting packages
• Collaborate with FP&A team on financial planning and analysis
• Create and maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis

• Must be a US Citizen living in the US
• 3+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Expert knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
• Proven experience with OpEx management and accrual accounting
• Strong background in AR/AP operations and process optimization
• Experience partnering with FP&A teams and creating management reports
• Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred
• Full-time contract position
