Job Summary
The Wealth Sales & Service Consultant provides in‑office client and advisor support to a team of Wealth Advisors, managing a portfolio of high net‑worth clients. The role supports workload management, triages and delegates client and advisor operational requests, and participates in client events and meetings as required.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of intake for all requests from the assigned team, resolving a wide range of internal and external issues.
- Oversee workload management and coordinate various requests through multiple back‑office channels; provide guidance to wealth support specialists and serve as onboarding partner/mentor.
- Provide banking, lending and Trust product support for an average client book containing 250+ clients.
- Enter and maintain appropriate client records; monitor transactions for accuracy and timeliness; redirect requests to the wealth solution center as needed.
- Respond to client requests for information and assistance within the appropriate level of authority; identify at‑risk relationships and communicate opportunities to the relationship team.
- Play an active role in the sales process, including client document review, correspondence, creation of presentation material, and proactive sales support activities for advisors.
- Oversee client onboarding, account opening/closing/maintenance and wires, focusing on risk management and compliance; own onboarding and maintenance of complex banking products such as Trust accounts, Commercial Lending, Treasury & Payment Solutions, and deposit products.
- Render responsive and personal service to Wealth clients while demonstrating product and procedural mastery, and develop positive working relationships across departments.
- Train other support teammates on systems, industry knowledge, and support processes.
- Have indirect supervisory responsibilities for one or more wealth support specialists.
- Participate in work streams, committees, and councils; provide ongoing feedback for process improvements.
- Attend client meetings/events as required.
- Carry higher standard operational authority (wires, deposit markup, overdraft, etc.) and, for SEG teammates, provide enhanced financial management services, coordinating with CPAs, lawyers, and estate planning professionals.
- Act as the local operations leader for the assigned team and lead operational/administrative projects, including team‑specific initiatives.
- Demonstrate mastery in specialty‑specific support activities, including servicing a commercial book of business, treasury services, and identifying process gaps.
- For SEG teammates, serve as the primary point of contact for the Managing Director and assigned clients; maintain and deepen client relationships through industry events.
- For SEG teammates, stay abreast of changes in professional sports player contracts, music and film industry complexities, and internal product and service offerings.
- Bachelor’s Degree or 7+ years of banking experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
- Flexible and able to adapt to change while prioritizing top priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑management skills with exemplary customer service and professional etiquette.
- Strong abilities in oral and written communication.
- Ability to coach and train teammates within a matrix environment, with indirect managerial responsibilities.
- Expert understanding of Banking, Lending, Investment Management, Trust solutions, Treasury, and Payment solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- 7+ years of experience supporting specialty clients with complex needs.
- Previous relationship‑management experience.
- Prior experience as manager or in training teammates.
- Strong knowledge of investment, wealth management, treasury services, credit, and deposit products.
- FINRA Licenses 7, 66 and Insurance License.
