We are looking for an experienced Sales and Use Tax Professional to join our Indirect Tax team. In this role you will advise on indirect tax regulatory changes, support compliance and reporting, and develop strategies to manage indirect taxes across the tax lifecycle.

• Identify opportunities for tax optimization, credits, refund recovery, and exposure reduction.
• Manage indirect tax strategies, compliance processes, remediation, controversies, and corrective filings.
• Support tax process reviews and technology transformation to enhance service offerings.
• Make decisions based on broad policies and apply personal knowledge to resolve complex issues.
• Analyze evolving tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
• Communicate potential opportunities and risks to clients.
• Research current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
• Develop clear plans and approaches to improve clients’ tax activities.
• Build relationships with clients by researching their business operations and tailoring advice to their needs.
• Travel as required by external clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional knowledge in sales and use tax processes, concepts, and tools.
• Proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
• Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
• Strong prioritization and multi‑project management skills.
• Excellent influencing and questioning skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment.
• Deep knowledge of tax legislation, impact assessment, planning, and optimization.
• Understanding of audit quality, remediation techniques, and operating model design.
• Proficiency in data analysis, risk mitigation, and accounting principles.
• Strong communication skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to drive outcomes and learn rapidly.

• CPA qualification (active or in progress).
• US Bar membership or certification from the Institute for Professionals in Taxation or CMI designation.
• Experience in RFP responses, resource planning, budgeting, and engagement economics reporting.
