This is a sales position supported by the ongoing training and education regimen implemented by our experienced staff and industry leaders. Loan Consultants receive a generous commission split and the responsibilities of the employee and desired characteristics of the candidate are listed below:

• Motivated, driven for success, and resilient
• Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to take control and problem solve during adverse situations
• General interest in money markets, real estate, and other investments
• Originating, selling, and closing purchase and refinance loans through building rapport and relationships across various channels
• Prospecting for clients through provided leads plus generating leads via other lines of business
• Acting as the central point of contact throughout the entire lending process
• Maintain relationships with old clients in order to drive referrals and other repeat business
• Conducting daily duties in a timely manner with the highest level of professionalism and integrity
• Bilingual is a plus

In addition to the above requirements, a Sr. Loan Consultant should display the following:

• 2+ years of experience as a Loan Originator
• NMLS licensing
• Experience with loan origination software
• A proven producer with extensive mortgage product knowledge and can demonstrate processing and underwriting knowledge
• Proficiency across all stages of the loan process from origination to closing and follow-up
• Experience managing a team is a plus
• Demonstrates an ability to self-generate business
