VP of Finance - Data​/Network Services

The VP of Finance will serve as a key strategic and operational finance leader, partnering closely with the CFO + CEO and executive team to drive financial planning, capital allocation, and operational performance across the organization. This role is well-suited for a finance leader with experience navigating the unique dynamics of the telecom sector — capital-intensive infrastructure investment, regulatory considerations, subscriber economics, and network/Cap Ex planning.

• Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting across the organization
• Partner with executive leadership on capital allocation, network/infrastructure investment decisions, and long-term financial strategy
• Oversee monthly/quarterly close, financial reporting, and board/investor reporting packages
• Develop and monitor key telecom KPIs (e.g., ARPU, churn, CAC, EBITDA margins, Cap Ex/revenue ratios)
• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and liquidity planning
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team; scale processes and systems to support growth
• Support M&A activity, due diligence, and integration planning as applicable
• Serve as a strategic finance partner to Operations, Network Engineering, and Sales leadership
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and (if applicable) regulatory/FCC reporting requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• [8–15] years of progressive finance leadership experience, with prior exposure to telecommunications, infrastructure, or a similarly capital-intensive industry
• Demonstrated experience in FP&A, capital planning, and financial leadership at a senior level
• Strong understanding of telecom unit economics and operational drivers
• Experience working directly with executive leadership, boards, and/or PE sponsors
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insight
• Proven track record building and leading finance teams through growth or scale

• Experience with [billing systems, network Cap Ex modeling, FCC/regulatory reporting, M&A integration]
• Background in PE-backed or high-growth telecom environments
