Overview
We are seeking a strategic individual contributor to lead portfolio investment and financial planning across our Infrastructure & Site Services organization. In this role, you will help align technology investments with business priorities, capacity, and economic outcomes. You will guide portfolio prioritization, financial planning, cost management, and investment trade‑off decisions—operating as the decision layer between strategy and execution. This is a high‑impact role focused on capital allocation, financial rigor, and decision quality.
Team/ Scope
This role sits within the Infrastructure & Site Services Front Office team, partnering with technology and business leaders to guide investment decisions across enterprise infrastructure capabilities.
Responsibilities Investment & Portfolio Decisioning- Prioritize infrastructure initiatives by balancing value, risk, and capacity constraints
- Evaluate investment options and contribute recommendations, with increasing ownership of decision framing over time
- Partner with leadership to align on investment decisions on what work gets funded, deferred, or stopped
- Support and progressively take ownership of end‑to‑end financial planning (annual plan, forecasting, variance management)
- Partner with Service Owners and Strategy Lead to develop and maintain multi‑year lifecycle investment strategies (e.g., reliability, capacity, cyber, lifecycle refresh)
- Improve cost transparency and cost allocation across infrastructure services
- Develop and refine TCO models, business cases, and cost/benefit analysis, with guidance on investment framing and decision support
- Translate complex financial and operational data into clear decision options for leadership
- Ensure decisions are grounded in economic thinking and aligned to enterprise priorities
- Establish and maintain portfolio‑level reporting on investment allocation, spend vs. plan, and portfolio health and performance
- Improve visibility into capital deployment and business outcomes
- Strengthen governance processes to support consistent, data‑driven decision‑making
- Align portfolio commitments with resource capacity, funding constraints, and delivery feasibility
- Partner closely with execution and service teams to reflect real‑world constraints in investment decisions
- Experience in IT portfolio management, financial planning, technology finance, or investment analysis
- Demonstrated experience with financial modeling (TCO, ROI, cost/benefit analysis), budgeting, forecasting, and variance management
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems
- Experience supporting portfolio prioritization and investment decisions
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non‑financial stakeholders
- Experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Enterprise IT environments
- Familiarity with PPM tools (e.g., Service Now, Planview)
- Experience working with Finance partners on planning cycles and capital allocation
- Exposure to portfolio governance frameworks or Lean Portfolio Management practices
- Experience influencing decisions without formal authority
