VP/ Controller - Private Equity (First in-house hire)

A rapidly growing private equity firm with approximately $1B in AUM is seeking its first in-house finance hire to partner directly with the CEO and Partners. This is a highly visible opportunity for someone looking to step beyond a traditional fund accounting role and become a strategic leader within a fast-growing investment platform. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll have ownership over the firm's finance infrastructure while working across fund accounting, management company accounting, treasury, compliance, financial reporting, and strategic finance
. As the organization continues to scale, you'll play a key role in building processes, improving controls, and helping shape the long-term direction of the finance function.

• Report directly to the CEO and Partners with significant visibility and influence.
• Own and build the finance function from the ground up.
• Broad exposure across fund accounting, management company accounting, treasury, compliance, and strategic initiatives.

• 8–12 years of private equity fund accounting experience.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Ability to work onsite 4 days per week in Atlanta, GA

• Base Salary: $150,000–$175,000 (flexible up to $200,000 for the right candidate)
• Bonus: 50%–75%
