As a Relationship Manager III – C&IB within PNC's Commercial Banking organization, you will be based in Atlanta, GA and work in an in‑office setting.
Job Responsibilities- Set relationship strategies and direct relationship‑management activities with new and/or existing clients to grow sales, revenue, and market share.
- Work independently and mentor other team members.
- Create and drive strategy to acquire and expand client relationships, generate revenue, and deepen the share of wallet.
- Originate, analyze financials, negotiate, and document credit and non‑credit products and services.
- Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and existing clients.
- Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks.
- Provide ideas and insights based on client needs and financial well‑being.
- Drive client engagement and loyalty.
- Generate best practices within Relationship Management.
- Maintain a network of senior internal and external relationships to acquire new clients and expand existing ones.
- Present the full range of PNC’s products and services to clients.
- Leverage reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities.
- Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate complex credit risk using advanced credit fundamentals and internal policies.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher; a Master’s, PhD, or relevant certifications desirable. - Experience:
8+ years in banking, financial services, or related fields with focus on client relationship management, credit analysis, and risk assessment. - Certifications:
None required, but relevant certifications are considered. - Skills:
Book of Business development, client relationship building, credit processes and products, financial analysis, decision making, customer engagement, prospecting, selling, and technology proficiency. - Competencies:
Business acumen, effective communication, critical thinking, and decision making.
