This position is responsible for maintaining and servicing a loan portfolio that requires direct client interaction (borrowers and lenders) and internal stakeholders. The incumbent ensures timely and accurate execution of loan servicing and maintenance activities, with an emphasis on analyzing calculations such as loan and fee accruals, processing interest, principal, fee payments, advances and loan payoff requests.

Essential Job Functions
  • Accurately interpret credit agreements, promissory notes, and other documents to determine operational feasibility and maintain data integrity of the commercial loan system of record.
  • Fund and board new loans on the core loan system.
  • Maintain a designated portfolio of customer accounts, processing payments, advances, payoffs, rate changes, interest and fee calculations and other related maintenance.
  • Process loan extensions and modifications.
  • Calculate Prepayment Penalty on request for payoff statements.
  • Perform post‑origination quality‑control loan audits to ensure proper legal documents have been received.
  • Conduct research to address loan problems (data entry errors, payment exceptions or misapplications), resolve issues and communicate outcomes to appropriate parties.
  • Manage high volumes of transaction processing and email correspondence with precision, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and in compliance with documented SLAs.
  • Maintain relationships with various lines of business, participant banks/co‑lenders and partner teams for escalation, resolution and risk management.
  • Communicate with internal and external clients regarding routine and exception questions related to servicing client’s CRE loans.
  • Independently proof transactions (cash and non‑cash) and initiate fund transfers when applicable, in adherence to loan terms, servicing agreements and established servicing standards.
  • Contribute to organizational initiatives, drive team goals, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, engagement and inclusivity.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, quality standards and management direction while meeting contractual deliverables to clients and other external parties.
  • Demonstrate teamwork by maintaining a professional attitude, proactively assisting coworkers, and working overtime when needed to meet client deadlines.
  • Assist in compiling various internal reports and in supporting asset managers and the portfolio management team with client reporting.
  • Serve on a specialized servicing team focusing on asset management, portfolio management, treasury services, escrow (including tax or insurance) administration or other related functions.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, real estate, business or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at a Loan Servicing or Primary Servicing Analyst level.
  • Knowledge of financial products, including loans, guarantees and standby letters of credit.
  • Detail‑oriented, able to prioritize, meet tight deadlines, multi‑task, with excellent organizational, verbal and written skills, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, projecting a positive, professional image to external contacts.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Can‑do, proactive attitude and ability to work autonomously while escalating issues appropriately.
  • Experience with Excel, including multiple formulas and macros.
  • Occasional adjusted work schedule, including evenings, weekends or overtime, to meet deadlines.
  • Occasional overnight travel and related expense reimbursements.
Compensation & Benefits

The annual full‑time base salary range for this role is $59,000 – $80,000. Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and market data. Certain positions may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. SitusAMC offers paid time off and paid holidays, and all full‑time employees are eligible to participate in benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401(k).
