Finance Operations Specialist

As a Finance Operations Specialist with Buildforce, you will work within our Finance team to support weekly payroll operations and other mission-critical needs.

Buildforce is a construction technology company changing the way construction staffing happens for both tradesmen and subcontractors, starting with the electrical trade. Since its launch in 2019, Buildforce has grown to put tens of millions of dollars into the pockets of thousands of electricians across the United States.

As a Finance Operations Specialist, you will be a key component of our Finance team. You will be managing the cash flow in and out of our business, ensuring electricians are paid on time and invoicing is accurate. You will also have the opportunity to take on important projects for improving operational processes within a fast-moving environment.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Support to ensure hundreds of Buildforce electricians are paid properly and on-time each week
• Manage communication related to invoicing and collections with Buildforce customers
• Support Finance team on payroll-related compliance tasks, month end close, and ad-hoc projects

• 2+ years experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role
• Fantastic attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
