We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join BGRE in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will play a key role in inspiring change and continual improvement. If you are committed to excellence and ready to contribute to a dynamic culture, we would love to meet you.
Role & Responsibilities- Assist with annual business plan preparation and quarterly reforecasts including review of investments plans, effect of changes to return metric, detailed analysis of current strategy, and variance analysis to underwriting.
- Review, document and consolidate investment valuations and ensure calculations are in line with internal policies.
- Support the internal capital markets team throughout the debt financing process.
- Produce / manage financial models used to calculate current / projected performance.
- Generate materials for monthly operations meeting.
- Maintain / update Argus files for various metrics including leasing, operating and market assumptions.
- Maintain development reporting at the project level.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with property and corporate accounting teams to ensure accuracy and the reporting timelines are met.
- Develop and update presentations for both internal and external audiences.
- Other ad hoc requests as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or applicable field.
- Up to three years’ experience working in corporate finance, a Fortune 100 company, a large real estate investment company or a public REIT.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated competence in working with large data sets.
- Argus Enterprise experience is a plus.
- Understand and compile basic proforma financial statements.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task with good time management to meet multiple deadlines.
