Position: 2027 Wealth Analyst Program (Intern Conversion)

Role summary

This is an intern conversion program for 2026 Truist Interns to transition into a Wealth Analyst role. The program offers comprehensive training in financial services, including core systems, product knowledge, and obtaining necessary securities registrations (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) and insurance licenses within 130 days. Analysts will rotate through various client-facing roles, shadowing Financial Advisors, Investment Analysts, and Wealth Advisors to learn about client interaction, investment strategies, financial planning, and sales presentations.

The program aims to develop leadership and collaborative skills, providing exposure to senior leaders and mentors. Upon successful completion, analysts may be placed in full-time Wealth roles based on performance and business needs.

The Role

As a Wealth Analyst you will learn about all aspects to begin a successful career in financial services that includes core systems training, product knowledge, securities registrations, and insurance licensing requirements.

  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
  • Series 7
  • Series 66
  • Life, Health & Variable (Variable products for Georgia residents)

Analysts must obtain SIE prior to the start of the program. Additional securities registrations and insurance licenses must be obtained within 130 days from orientation completion to continue with the program.

Analysts will participate in multiple rotations, and receive core training on sales, product knowledge and systems within Wealth. The 12-to-18 month program includes multiple shadowing experiences with our client-facing relationship management teams within Wealth:

  • Financial Advisor/Financial Consultant – You will spend time with financial advisors understanding how they interact with clients and build their book of business. This includes activities such as client meetings, making effective outbound calls, submitting paperwork and working within key systems.
  • Investment Analyst – You will spend time with Investment Analysts and Investment Managers to gain an understanding of how to create client presentations, conduct industry research, and make changes to investment mixes based on the current market.
  • Wealth Advisor – You’ll observe Wealth Advisors to gain knowledge on financial planning, sales presentations, and understand how they prepare for client meetings, and collaborate with other partners in Wealth and across the Truist enterprise.

Throughout your time as a Wealth Analyst, you will expand your leadership and collaborative team skills, while gaining industry and technical knowledge. Our program also offers vast exposure to senior leaders within Wealth, a support network of mentors and peers, and the chance to join the close-knit Wealth community.

Upon program completion, analysts who meet performance requirements may be placed in one of the Wealth roles mentioned above, as well as others―based on business needs, analyst preference and performance.

The Requirements
  • This requisition is open to 2026 Truist Interns only. Applicants who were not 2026 Truist interns will not be considered.
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (business or finance preferred) at an accredited college or university
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Superior written and oral communication abilities
  • Independent, entrepreneurial mindset, goal-oriented
  • Ability to self-manage, adapt to a fast-paced environment, collaborate well with teams
  • Flexibility to potentially relocate
