Capital Markets Summer Internship – Early Careers
Ready to make your mark in the world of investments? Spend an unforgettable summer at Invesco alongside a select group of driven students. Our 9-week Summer Internship Program kicks off in June 2027 and offers you the chance to dive into the fast-paced world of investments, learn from industry pros, and build connections that will last a lifetime. In this internship, you'll get hands-on experience, one-on-one mentorship, and the inside scoop on what it's really like to work at a global investment firm.
As part of a Summer Internship Program cohort, you will have a variety of initiatives to keep you engaged throughout the summer including orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. You'll work side-by-side with talented teams to learn about the business.

What you will do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned tasks and initiatives
- Attend team meetings, complete assigned projects within established timelines, and present findings to management
- Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Seek feedback and guidance from mentors and team members to support learning and growth
- Support the team in researching industry trends, financial statements, and market data
- Participate in training sessions and networking opportunities to further develop your technical and professional skills
- Join regular team meetings to understand our top-down macro investment process and performance metrics. Includes portfolio manager, client portfolio manager, risk, and research teams
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI, Excel) to track key Capital Markets metrics and turn raw trading, holdings, and market data into clear insights for stakeholders.
- Learn how funds trade in primary and secondary markets, gaining exposure to both active and exchange-traded fund ecosystems.
- Research market structure and trading dynamics (liquidity, spreads, pricing efficiency) and understand how they connect to Invesco's business.

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2028
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- All majors are welcomed with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Stats, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business-related field
- A demonstrated interest in investments
- Must be able to work in Invesco's Atlanta office
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
- Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended.
- Experience with creative problem solving and analytical thinking
- Experience with prioritizing work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong communication skills and comfort with translating data/analysis into clear takeaways for stakeholders
- Highly detail-oriented with a sharp eye for accuracy. Takes ownership of producing polished, error-free work with minimal oversight.
- Prior internship in investment management is preferred but not required
- Experience gathering and interpreting market data (e.g., pricing, trading volumes, etc.) and drawing insights from it
