Job Description Capital Markets Summer Internship – Early Careers Overview Ready to make your mark in the world of investments? Spend an unforgettable summer at Invesco alongside a select group of driven students. Our 9-week Summer Internship Program kicks off in June 2027 and offers you the chance to dive into the fast-paced world of investments, learn from industry pros, and build connections that will last a lifetime.
In this internship, you’ll get hands‑on experience, one‑on‑one mentorship, and the inside scoop on what it’s reallyliketo work at a global investment firm. As part of a Summer Internship Program cohort, you will have a variety of initiatives to keep you engaged throughout the summer including orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. You’ll work side‑by‑side with talented teams to learn about the business.

- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on assigned tasks and initiatives
- Attend team meetings, complete assigned projects within established timelines, and present findings to management
- Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Seek feedback and guidance from mentors and team members to support learning and growth
- Support the team in researching industry trends, financial statements, and market data
- Participate in training sessions and networking opportunities to further develop your technical and professional skills
- Join regular team meetings to understand our top‑down macro investment process and performance metrics. Includes portfolio manager, client portfolio manager, risk, and research teams
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., PowerBI, Excel) to track key Capital Markets metrics and turn raw trading, holdings, and market data into clear insights for stakeholders.
- Learn how funds trade in primary and secondary markets, gaining exposure to both active and exchange‑traded fund ecosystems.
- Researchmarketstructure and trading dynamics (liquidity, spreads, pricing efficiency) and understand how they connect to Invesco’s business.

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2028
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- All majors are welcomed with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Stats, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business‑related field
