A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice works with private equity‑held portfolio companies, providing solutions that preserve and generate value. The goal is to improve transparency into key drivers, support increased cash and EBITDA, and deliver financial outcomes through hands‑on involvement in client operations.

We are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Digital Finance Transformation team within PEPI. This role focuses on helping private equity portfolio companies accelerate digital enablement within the finance function—modernizing data environments, automating processes, and building analytics‑driven tools that create measurable business impact.
The ideal candidate blends strong technical expertise in Python, SQL, and modern data platforms with a solid understanding of finance and accounting operations. You will work directly with CFOs, Controllers, and FP&A leaders to design, implement, and operationalize digital solutions that improve performance, transparency, and scalability.
Qualifications- 4–8 plus years of professional experience; consulting or professional services experience preferred.
- Advanced Python programming experience, including familiarity with machine learning libraries such as scikit‑learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric).
- Experience with ETL/orchestration tools (Dagster, Temporal, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Fivetran, Matillion).
- Demonstrated ability to develop lightweight finance applications using Streamlit or Retool.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts, including forecasting, working capital management, and three‑statement modeling.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; proven ability to translate between finance and technology teams.
